This article explains how to design and customize both the Checkout Page and the Completed Page. The Checkout Page is the purchase flow itself, where players review the offer details, select a payment method, and complete the transaction. You can customize key UI elements such as headers, buttons, and branding assets to match your game’s aesthetic. The Completed Page is the purchase confirmation screen displayed after a successful checkout. It can also be customized to reinforce branding and provide a consistent post-purchase experience.
This article includes steps for adding images. If you provide an external image URL, Appcharge saves and uses the URL as-is. Appcharge doesn’t download, copy, upload, or host the image. If you use an external image URL, host the image on your own infrastructure and keep it available at the provided URL.We recommend uploading image files instead of using external URLs when possible. Appcharge hosts uploaded files on its CDN.

Customize the Checkout Page

To customize your Checkout Page:
  1. In the Publisher Dashboard, go to Studio > Builder and click the Checkout Page tab.
  2. Complete the following fields:
    • Logo: Select or upload a logo image to display at the top of the Checkout Page.
    • Game Name: Enter the name of your game.
    • Font Color: Select a text color.
    • Background Image: Select or upload a background image.
    • Background Image (Mobile): Select or upload a background image optimized for mobile devices.
    • Legal Text: Use the fields below to add your own legal text in the Checkout footer. The Appcharge legal text is displayed before your legal text, and can’t be changed.
      • General Footer Legal Text: Enter your default legal text for the Checkout footer. Appcharge shows this when no localized text matches the player’s location. If you don’t configure either field, only Appcharge legal text is displayed. Use the rich text editor to format the text and add links.
      • Localized Legal Text: Add country- or state-specific legal text that completely replaces the general text for players in that location. Players see only one publisher footer text block. Use this for region-specific legal disclosures (for example, tax or refund language for the UK) or to provide a translated version of your general text:
        1. Select a Country.
        2. Enter the legal text in the rich text editor.
        3. Click Add.
        4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each additional country.
  3. Click Preview (Web and Mobile) to review your changes, and then click Save.

Customize the Completed Page

To customize your Completed Page:
  1. In the Publisher Dashboard, go to Studio > Builder and click the Completed Page tab.
  2. Complete the following sections:
    • General
      • Custom X Icon: Upload or select the close icon displayed in the top-right corner of the Completed Page.
      • Background Opacity: Enter the background opacity percentage.
    • Purchase Completed Modal
      • Header Text: Enter the text displayed at the top of the Completed Page, such as Purchase Completed!.
      • Font Color: Use the drop-down menu to select Solid to apply a single color, or Linear to apply a gradient.
      • Font Size (px): Enter the font size in pixels.
      • Font Weight: Use the drop-down menu to select a font weight, Regular, Medium, or Bold.
    • Additional Text
      • Body Text: Enter additional text to display on the page, such as Open the game to see your new items.
      • Font Color: Use the drop-down menu to select a text color.
      • Font Size (px): Enter the font size in pixels.
      • Font Weight: Use the drop-down menu to select a font weight, Regular, Medium, or Bold.
    • Products Quantity
      • Font Color: Use the drop-down menu to select a text color for the quantity numbers shown next to products on the Completed Page.
      • Font Size (px): Enter the font size in pixels.
      • Font Weight: Use the drop-down menu to select a font weight, Regular, Medium, or Bold.
    • Back to Game Button
      • Button Text: Enter the text that appears on the button, such as Back to game.
      • Button Image: Upload a custom button image. If no image is uploaded, the button displays the text you entered.
      • Android: Enter the redirect URL or deep link for Android devices.
      • Apple (iOS): Enter the redirect URL or deep link for Apple devices.
      • Web: Enter the redirect URL for web browsers.
  3. Click Save to apply your changes.
You should see the updated Completed Page the next time a player completes a checkout.
