This article explains how to create and manage Game Portal content in the Publisher Dashboard. You can also create and manage content using the Game Portal’s Content API service.
To add content to a page, a page must be created first. For instructions, see Create and Manage a Game Portal Page.

Create content

To create content:
  1. In your game portal project, go to the Content tab and click Create New Content.
  2. (Optional) If you plan to add content in additional languages, open the Translations drop-down menu and select English first. Complete all required fields. Then, select the additional language you want to add and fill out the fields again for that language.
If you don’t see the Translations drop-down menu, you’ll need to add at least one language other than English in the Translations section of the Publisher Dashboard first. See Add and Manage Languages for instructions.
  3. In the General section:
    • Enter a Title and Description.
    • Select the Content type to control the preview layout. The full content page is the same for both options.
      • Article: Displays as a vertical card within a grid layout. The image appears above the publication date, title, excerpt, and Read More button.
      • News: Displays as a full-width horizontal card. The image appears on one side, with the publication date, title, excerpt, and Read More button on the other side.
    • Write your content in the Body Text.
      • Use the built-in editing tools to insert and format text, images, links, and lists.
      • Enable Dev Mode to edit the content directly using Markdown.
    • Upload a header image and a thumbnail image.
    • Under Pages select the pages where you want the content to appear.
You can’t add content to the Store page.
    • Add Labels separated by commas to categorize the content. These labels will appear on the thumbnail image of the selected pages.
    • Define a slug for the URL path.
    • Set the content Visibility to either:
      • Public: Visible to all Game Portal visitors.
      • Segmented: Visible only to players who are logged into the Game Portal. Content visibility is affected by both page and content settings:
        • If a page is Public and content is Segmented, only the players who are logged in can see the content.
        • If a page is Segmented and content is Public, only players who are logged in can see the content.
        • If both are Segmented, only players who are logged in can see the content.
    • Use the Tag drop-down menu to add an internal tag for organizing your content. You can manage the tag as follows:
      • Assign a tag: Select an existing tag from the list.
      • Create a tag: Type a tag name in the search field, and then press Enter.
      • Edit a tag: Click the ellipsis next to the tag you want to edit, and then click Edit.
      • Delete a tag: Click the ellipsis next to the tag you want to delete, and then click Delete.
Tags are used for internal organization only and aren’t visible to players.
  4. At the top of the editor, select the content visibility. By default, content is set to Hidden, but you can change it to Visible.
Content assigned to Hidden pages will also be hidden.
  5. If the content is set to Hidden, you can schedule it to be published at a later date:
    • Go to the Schedule publication date section.
    • Toggle Enable scheduled publishing.
    • Select a desired publish date.
