Triggered popups are time-sensitive offers displayed as on-screen overlays when a specific action occurs in the player journey. Use them to present targeted, high-value offers when a player completes a purchase or refreshes the store. Triggered popups can be configured as paid offers or free rewards.

How it works

Triggered popups appear when their trigger conditions are met. You can control when they appear using frequency, scheduling, cooldowns, and priority, depending on the trigger type. When a popup appears, the player can collect or purchase the offer, or close the popup and continue browsing the web store.

Triggers

Triggered popups support the following trigger types:
  • Post Purchase: Displays the popup after a player completes a purchase.
  • Store Refresh: Displays the popup when the web store is refreshed, including after player login, browser refresh, or an explicit store reload.

Post Purchase Popups

Each Post Purchase Popup includes a single product and appears after a player closes the Completed Page, also known as the purchase success screen. You can configure a Post Purchase Popup to appear after every purchase, only after specific offers are purchased, or after a set number of purchases that match the configured offer conditions. Use frequency to define how often the popup appears when the trigger conditions are met. For example, if frequency is set to 3, the popup appears after 3 matching purchases. If frequency is set to 1, the popup appears after every matching purchase. When the popup appears, the player must either collect or buy the offer, or close the popup. Both actions reset the popup’s frequency counter. The configured frequency value doesn’t change, but the player must complete the required number of matching purchases again before the popup can appear again. You can create multiple Post Purchase Popups and prioritize them. If multiple Post Purchase Popups have the same configuration and are eligible for the completed purchase based on their frequency and offer ID settings, players see each popup one after another, with lower priority numbers appearing first.

Store Refresh Popups

Each Store Refresh Popup includes up to 20 products. You can configure a Store Refresh Popup to appear after a set number of eligible store refreshes. Use frequency to define how many store refreshes must occur before the popup is displayed. For example, if frequency is set to 3, the popup appears after 3 eligible store refreshes. You can also set a cooldown, which defines the number of minutes that must pass before the popup can appear again. Frequency and cooldown periods must both pass before the popup is shown. Store Refresh Popups are permanent by default, which means they are always available and not scheduled. You can also schedule them to start and end at specific times. Priority applies across all eligible offers that use a popup modal, such as Store Refresh Popups and Daily Bonus offers, and determines the display order. When the popup appears, the player must either collect or buy the offer, or close the popup. If the player closes the popup, the offer disappears unless you configured a badge. The badge acts as a visual reminder and lets the player reopen the popup to collect or purchase the offer later. The offer remains available in the badge until the player collects or purchases it, at which point the badge disappears. If the offer is still available when the store refreshes, the popup opens again.
