Business
This tab displays key metrics related to player activity and revenue. You can sort and compare data across attributes and time frames.Set up the Business tab
To view business analytics:- In the top-left corner, click the Attribute Name button and search for the attribute you want to analyze.
- Click the Attribute Values button and select the values you want to compare.
- In the top-right corner, click the date range selector to choose your time frame.
- To compare data over two periods, click Compare Dates and select a second date range.
Business metrics
Appcharge provides the following business metrics you can track:Metric | Description |

Active Users | This metric counts the number of unique players engaged with the web store (post login) within the specific time frame. It helps measure the player engagement and the active reach of the web store business. |
ARPPU (Average Revenue Per Paying User) | This metric calculates the average revenue generated from each paying player. It helps publishers understand the value derived from players who contribute directly to revenue, highlighting spending patterns and the effectiveness of monetization strategies. |
ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) | This metric averages the total revenue generated by all active players, whether they pay or not. It is an important measure of overall revenue generation capability per web store player, providing insight into the overall economic value of the player base. |
Average Daily Active Users | This metric shows the average number of unique players actively using (post login) the web store daily. It helps track daily player engagement and the service’s stickiness. It is relevant only if you choose more than one day in the time picker. |
Average Deposits Per Depositor | This metric shows the average deposits/transactions count per depositor. Understanding how much each player typically contributes to deposits is crucial, helping to gauge player engagement and financial behavior. |
Conversion Rate | Appcharge measures the player conversion rate percentage as the proportion of total deposits divided by total sessions. It’s crucial for evaluating the effectiveness of conversion strategies and player interest. |
Depositors | This count reflects the number of unique players who have made at least one deposit. It is useful for assessing the size of your engaged player base. |
Deposits Per Price Point | The number of deposits for each price point. |
Revenue Per Price Point | The total revenue for each price point. |
Total Deposits | This metric indicates the number of successful deposits/transactions by players within a specific period. |
Total Revenue | The total revenue including taxes and fees. |
Total Revenue Without Tax | This metric represents the sum of all revenue generated by the web store, excluding any taxes applied. It provides a clear view of the company’s income from sales before fee deductions. |
Total Sessions | This number represents the total count of individual sessions initiated by all players within a given period. It’s useful for understanding player engagement levels and the frequency of interaction with the web store. Appcharge considered a session to be any activity within a one-hour period. |
Finance
This tab provides visibility into payment performance and risk-related metrics, such as chargebacks and refunds. You can compare these across different periods.Set up the Finance tab
To view financial analytics:- In the top-right corner, click the date range selector to choose your time frame.
- To compare data across two periods, click Compare Dates and select an additional time frame.
Financial metrics
Appcharge provides the following financial metrics you can track:Metric | Description |

Chargeback Amount Rate | The percentage of total revenue that was lost due to chargebacks. |
Chargeback Cases: In Progress | The number of chargebacks that are still under review or awaiting resolution. |
Chargeback Cases: Lost | The number of chargebacks that were lost after dispute resolution. |
Chargeback Cases: Won | The number of chargebacks that were successfully won. |
Chargeback Rate | The percentage of completed orders that resulted in a chargeback. |
Chargeback Win Rate | The percentage of chargebacks that were successfully disputed and won. |
Order Success Rate | The percentage of successful orders out of all payment attempts. |
Payment Method Distribution | Breakdown of transactions by payment method used. |
Refund Amount Rate | The percentage of total revenue that was refunded. |
Refund Rate | The percentage of completed orders that were refunded. |
A/B Test
This tab allows you to analyze how different player segments or experimental groups perform across key business metrics. It’s especially useful for evaluating feature changes, pricing strategies, creative assets, or promotional campaigns. You can sort by attribute and view metrics for each attribute value side by side. This makes it easy to compare different groups over a selected time frame. For example, if you’ve segmented VIP players into Group A and Group B, you can compare their performance this month using metrics like:- Total Revenue
- ARPPU
- Average Deposits Per Depositor
Set up the A/B Test tab
To view A/B testing analytics:- In the top-left corner, click Attribute Name and choose the attribute you want to analyze.
- Click Attribute Values and select the specific values or groups to compare.
- In the top-right corner, click the date range selector to choose your time frame.
